Today was one of the biggest events of the sporting calendar, the long awaited, inaugural, international, world Boule championship of Bredsel. A big day for me as a photographer, we all dream of covering these high profile events! Old wounds were reopened, rivalries that have gone back through generations. People came from as far as the other end of the village for an amazing event, marred only by some minor crowd trouble at the start, soon brought under control. It was intense, there were highs and lows, there was some beer, snacks and soft drinks. All in all, a spectacular event organised by Birgitta and Tor! Thanks for inviting me, some pictures.
